The main alternatives to Caimera AI are CherryShot, Botika, FASHN, Photoroom, WeShop AI, Claid and Pixelcut. CherryShot fits brands that want on-model and lifestyle shots plus video ads from one product photo, without prompting, from $9.99 a month. Botika and FASHN are fashion specialists, while Photoroom, Claid and Pixelcut are wider photo editors with fashion features.
Disclosure: CherryShot is our product, and it is listed first. Every fact about the other tools comes from their own public pages, checked 24 October 2026.
It calls itself an AI visual production platform for fashion teams, from sketch to sale. It covers design, catalog and marketing work in one account, which is more ground than most tools on this page try to cover.
Its app home lists more than twenty tools across design, ecommerce and marketing: Sketch to Image, Print Designer, Tech Pack, Editorial Images, Campaign Video, Still Life Images and a Workflows canvas that chains tools into repeatable pipelines.
Its Ghost Mannequin / Flat Lay tool takes a flat lay, mannequin shot or model photo and returns an invisible mannequin packshot or a flat lay, and can extract more than one garment from a single image. The pricing page charges 2 credits for it.
The Flat Lay to Catalog tool turns flat lays into on-model catalog images with a chosen model, pose and background. It says it handles 100+ garments in one job, with each subfolder of an uploaded folder becoming an outfit.
Its basic Recolor costs 0 credits and takes a hex code or swatch, with selective recolor for one part of a product. A separate AI Recolor is priced at 3 credits per colorway at 1K and 5 at 2K.
Free: $0 with 20 one-time credits. Mini: $15 per user a month, 120 credits. Starter: $45 per user a month, 350 credits. Pro: $117 per user a month, 1,000 credits. Enterprise starts at $1,500. Yearly billing saves 20%, and extra credits cost $75 for 500.
Credit costs that matter for fashion shoots: an editorial image is 1 credit at 1K, a catalog image is 10 credits, a ghost mannequin or flat lay is 2 credits, video is 10 credits per 5 seconds, and a custom AI model is 75 credits. Unused credits roll over while a subscription is active.
People look for a Caimera alternative for different reasons: a lower entry price, fewer tools to learn, or a feature it does not have. The table shows what each tool is best at, how to try it, and its cheapest paid step.

CherryShot turns one photo of a product into on-model shots, studio and lifestyle scenes and short video ads. There is no prompt box to learn: you pick a model, a scene and a style. It has preset AI models across ethnicities plus custom faces, and the same model stays consistent across a brand's drops. It also does two-model shots, campaign sets of up to six art-directed shots, and image-to-video ads with an AI director.
For stores, a Shopify integration inside the web app saves shots back into Shopify products. Developers get a REST API and an MCP server, agencies get white-label, and there is a research agent for competitor Meta ads. Pricing: Starter $9.99 for 50 credits, Pro $44.99 for 250, Business $104.99 for 600, with 10% off yearly. A standard shot is 1 credit and a Pro Mode (higher resolution) shot is 2. New accounts get 5 free shots with no card.
What it does not do: CherryShot has no ghost mannequin tool, no flat lay mode, no masked recolor and no separate upscaler. If those are your daily work, see the section on when Caimera is the better pick. More on our approach: AI photoshoot and our ghost mannequin alternative.

Botika is built for clothing brands. You upload a flat lay, hanger or ghost mannequin photo and get on-model photography back, in bulk, from a library of 150+ AI models across body types and skin tones. A plus over most tools here: yearly plans include retouch rounds, where you flag an issue and its team fixes the image (2 rounds per photo on Pro). Each photo costs 1 credit and each video 5. Pricing is set with a credit slider; the default Pro view shows $46 a month billed yearly, down from $55. Its pricing page also mentions a Shopify app and an iOS app. There is more detail on our Botika alternatives page.
FASHN calls itself an AI agent for fashion ecommerce. You describe the model, pose or setting and the agent picks the process, including its own virtual try-on model, model swaps, background edits, upscaling and video. It keeps the same model across looks and has an API. New accounts get 10 free credits. Basic is $19 a month ($16 billed yearly) for 200 credits, Pro is $49 for 750 plus 50 daily bonus credits, and Agency is $99. It runs on web, iOS and Android with one account.
Photoroom is a broad product photo editor: background removal, retouching, AI backgrounds, AI Fashion Models and an AI Ghost Mannequin tool that works from flat, hanging, mannequin or model photos. That ghost mannequin tool makes it the closest match to Caimera's packshot feature. Pro is $12.99 a month ($7.50 billed yearly) with 8,000 AI credits and 1,000 exports. The video generator starts on Max at $34.99. It has iPhone, iPad and Android apps. We compare it with CherryShot in detail on CherryShot vs Photoroom.
WeShop AI offers Virtual Try-On, AI Fashion Model, AI Product Photography, Model To Mannequin and AI Pose Generator tools, next to many third-party image and video models. New accounts get free points. Pro is $9.99 a month ($7.99 billed yearly); Ultra is $45 a month and adds API access to its standard skills. Points do not roll over. It has iOS and Android apps.
Claid is a product photography suite with AI Photoshoot, AI Fashion models, AI video, background removal, upscaling and light and color correction, plus an API aimed at marketplaces and large catalogs. The free trial includes 50 credits. Essentials starts at $9 a month for 500 credits and Pro at $35 for 2,000. An AI Fashion image costs 4 credits, so Essentials covers up to 125 of them.
Pixelcut is an editing suite first: background removal, upscaling up to 16x, retouching, generative fill and a bulk editor, plus AI product photos and AI actors that stay consistent across content. Its Product Studio has a Ghost Mannequin format that works from a flat or on-hanger garment photo. The free plan covers limited background removal and upscaling. Pro is $10 a month ($8 billed yearly) with 600 AI credits. It has iOS and Android apps and an API. Pick it when editing volume matters more than fashion-specific models.
Stay with Caimera if your team needs ghost mannequin packshots, flat lays and colorways as well as on-model images. CherryShot does none of those three, while Caimera has all of them in one account with published credit prices. It also covers the design side, from sketch to image to print design and tech packs, which the alternatives here do not advertise on the pages we checked. If you process 100+ garments per job, its Flat Lay to Catalog bulk tool and Workflows canvas are built for that.
Look at an alternative if you mainly want on-model, lifestyle and video content for a store, and you would rather pick a model and scene than learn twenty tools. That is where CherryShot is built to be quicker. Look at Botika if you want its team to retouch images, and at Photoroom or Pixelcut if you want ghost mannequin plus a general editor on your phone.
As of 24 October 2026 the main alternatives are CherryShot, Botika, FASHN, Photoroom, WeShop AI, Claid and Pixelcut. CherryShot (our product) suits brands that want on-model and lifestyle shots plus video ads from one photo without prompting. Botika and FASHN are fashion specialists for on-model imagery. Photoroom, Claid and Pixelcut are broader product photo editors with fashion features. WeShop AI bundles many image and video models in one account.
CherryShot Starter is $9.99 a month for 50 credits, where a standard shot is 1 credit and a Pro Mode shot is 2. Caimera Mini is $15 per user a month for 120 credits; its pricing page lists up to 120 editorial images or up to 12 catalog images on that plan, because a catalog image costs 10 credits. It also has a free plan with 20 one-time credits. CherryShot gives 5 free shots with no card. Which is cheaper depends on which kind of image you need most.
Photoroom has an AI Ghost Mannequin tool that works from flat, hanging, mannequin or model photos. Pixelcut has a Ghost Mannequin format in its Product Studio, from a flat or on-hanger photo. WeShop AI lists a Model To Mannequin tool. CherryShot has no ghost mannequin tool. Its answer is to put the garment on an AI model instead, which we explain on our ghost mannequin alternative page. If invisible mannequin packshots are a must, Caimera, Photoroom or Pixelcut is the better fit.
Yes, all of them have a free way in. CherryShot gives 5 free shots, Caimera 20 one-time credits, FASHN 10 credits, Claid 50 credits, WeShop AI free sign-up points, and Pixelcut a limited free plan. Botika and Photoroom offer free trials. The fair test is to run the same garment photo through two or three of them and compare the results.
CherryShot has a REST API and an MCP server. On the pages we checked, Caimera lists API access and an MCP for Claude and ChatGPT, FASHN and Claid sell API access, Pixelcut links to an API, and WeShop AI offers API access on its Ultra and Enterprise plans.
